Mr. Godfrey Mutubia is the Managing Partner of the firm and has 20 years of practice. He holds an LL.B (Hons.) Degree from Moi University. He also holds a Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration London and Kenya, Certified Patent Agent, Advocate, Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public.

He was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2001. Prior to his admission, undertook his articles of pupillage in the firm of S. M. Madzayo and Co. Advocates.

In 2002 he joined the firm of Swaleh & Co. Advocates where he worked for Seven (7) years before setting up the firm of Godfrey Mutubia & Co. Advocates. He has been in active practice since then. Mr. Mutubia provides guidance, direction and leadership to the rest of the team with the primary aim of meeting and satisfying clients’ needs.

He specializes in general Commercial Litigation, Corporate Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Labour Law, Intellectual Property Law with a particular interest in Commercial and Insurance Law, Succession, Corporate Winding up and Liquidation, Debt Collection and recovery and Tenancy Disputes.
